We offer Routine (6-8 Weeks) and Expedited (2-3 Weeks) service ONLY. Processing times begin the day your application is received by the Dept of State, not the day you apply in our office. The Department of State indicates that it may take up to 2 weeks for applications to arrive by mail at a passport agency or center, and up to 2 weeks for you to receive a completed passport in the mail after it is printed.
Most adult passports can be renewed by mail. Check your eligibility here. We cannot accept DS-82 Renewal forms in our office. REQUIREMENTS:
1. If you cannot attend your appointment, please cancel or reschedule immediately. A link will be provided in your confirmation email that you can use to cancel/reschedule. Please arrive on time for your appointment. If you are late or don't have required documents you may be asked to reschedule.
2. CHECK OR MONEY ORDER: Passport application & expedited service fees are payable by CHECK OR MONEY ORDER ONLY to the U.S. Department of State. Separate $35 execution fees and any photo or copy fees are payable to the County of Fresno by cash, card, or money order (No $100 currency or mobile payments). Fee amounts & information here. 3. Completed DS-11 Forms: (Black ink only. No double sided copies). Forms must be completed prior to your appointment time. Use the DS-11 form only. Download here or obtain in our office. Do not use the DS-82 Form. The DS-82 is by mail only. 4. Proof of Citizenship: (govt issued birth certificate, naturalization certificate, or previously issued passport). Minors must have birth certificate. Original and one black and white photocopy. Photocopies: 50 cents. Your citizenship evidence will be mailed with your application and returned to you. 5. Identification: Valid driver’s license or military ID card. Full list of acceptable IDs here. Bring original and one black/white photocopy with the front and back on the same page. Photocopies: 50 cents. 6. Passport Photo: We can take your passport photo for a fee of $6.00. We do not take photos of children under 3. 7. Social Security Number: You are required to provide your social security number (SSN). You do not need to bring your card. If you are a new U.S. citizen, please visit the SSA office to update your information before applying for your passport. All applicants must be present. Minors needing a passport typically must have both parents present. If you are applying for a minor please review the requirements at Travel.State.Gov carefully. Your confirmation email will include the information above and information about our location and parking. Please review this information to ensure you are ready for your appointment and know how to find our office. Please note that many navigation apps do not provide accurate directions to our office. Our objective is to ensure your application is successful and processed without delay. To achieve this objective our staff may ask you clarifying questions about your application and supporting documents.
