Notary Journal Surrender Guidance

• Surrendered notary journals shall be returned to the county in which the current official oath of office is on file.
• Notary public’s name, commission number and beginning and ending dates of journal entries must displayed inside the front cover(s) of the journal(s). Please note any name changes.
• Name and address of person returning journal shall be included with the submission.
• Fee of $10 payable to County Clerk is required. The fee is $10 regardless of the number of books surrendered. $100 currency and mobile payments are not accepted.
